Help us to educate city children about sustainability

We realize that the paid visitor packages can be a problem to schools who cannot afford to pay the fees. Mlango Farm Foundation (MFF) therefore seeks to bridge this gap by partnering with corporations, groups and schools to not only sponsor farm visits for children, but also come out to the farm with the sponsored schools. We encourage companies and schools to spend their time together with the children they support in order to really interact, build up a relationship and learn from each other.

Partnerships and ways to support

You can partner with us through many ways:

• Invite a school to visit the farm together;
• Make a donation to help us run our operations, contribute materials (or simply money) to build up a Visitors Centre, contribute with your specific knowledge about a certain educational topic to develop more programs, share your school bus with a disadvantaged school that does not have the means to come to visit, etc. You can also donate through our partners organization in the Netherlands: Stichting Mlango Farm ;
• Become a “Friends of the Farm” volunteer;
• Student internships.

Fundraising is an ongoing task, both to maintain the current program and to enable us to continue to develop to meet new and emerging needs. Friends of the Farm

Are you a regular visitor to the farm? Do you enjoy your time here and believe in what we do? If so, why not get more involved by joining our ‘Friends of the Farm’ program? The Mlango Farm Foundation relies on income from visitors, and donations. Successful funding applications to charitable trusts and other organizations bring in some of the money we need each year, but we really couldn’t survive without the generosity and involvement of our visitors and wider network of supporters.

Becoming a ‘Friend of the Farm’ is not just about giving money. We appreciate enormously any time our Friends are able to spare to visit us and discuss our projects and future plans, and the hands-on help some Friends are able to give us is crucial for the farm’s continued growth and success. The ‘Friends of the Farm program’ is in development, please ask us for more information or stay tuned on this website.
