Farm Visit Programs

We welcome you for a full educational day on the farm.  All of our programs include practical activities and a guided tour of the farm. Depending on your preference, the time available for your visit, the number of children and the age of the children, we can plan a program with you. We offer the following three visit options:
 

Full day school visit

10 am – 3 pm
1,000 Ksh per person
Lunch included
Minimum 20 , maximum 80 participants
For every 10 children, 1 teacher will be free of charge
 

Full day school visit including cooking class

10 am – 3 pm
1,500 Ksh per person
Activity: Cooking class + bread-on-a-stick
Minimum 20 , maximum 40 participants
For every 10 children, 1 teacher will be free of charge

Short school visit

10 am – 12  pm
350 Ksh per person
Minimum 20 , maximum 80 participants
For every 10 children, 1 teacher will be free of charge

Educational packages

Waste and ecobricks:

You will learn about REFUSE, REDUCE, RE-USE, RECYCLE, ROT, and how to help your community by turning an environmental problem into a great solution: ecobricks. Bring clean and dry empty pet bottles.

The 4 elements:

Our programme about the 4 elements: WATER, AIR, EARTH, FIRE helps children understand how nature works and how all life on our planet is connected. Learn about nature, teamwork and the environment through movement, problem-solving and educational games in our forest.

The 5 senses:

A great program for the younger students, to understand which five senses belong to which five body parts, and to learn how they help you to discover the world around you. Fun and educational games in our forest. 

Bee farming:

Did you know that bees are the only insects that produce food for human consumption? If bees disappeared, humans would not survive for more than four years on earth. Honey bees are an integral part of humanity and a necessity in agriculture as pollinators. We have our own beehives where your class can learn more about the amazing bee.

Cancellation policy:

When you make a reservation, we hire extra staff and prepare a program specifically for your group. A cancellation usually means for us that we will have no income for that day, while we could have welcomed another group. Therefore, we have the following cancellation policy:

• Cancelling 4 days before the planned visit or earlier: no costs.
• Cancelling 3 days before the planned visit: 30% of the costs to be paid.
• Cancelling 2 days before the planned visit: 50% of the costs to be paid.
• Cancelling 1 day before the planned visit: 75% of the costs to be paid.
• Cancelling on the day itself: 90% of the costs to be paid.
